UAE Compliance Calendar
One form, every deadline that applies to your business — and a free reminder at 60, 30 and 7 days so you find out before the penalty does.
Why a calendar rather than another calculator
Most compliance penalties in the UAE are not caused by getting a number wrong. They are caused by a date passing while nobody was watching — a registration window that closed three months after incorporation, a waiver that expired two months before the deadline everyone had in their diary, a licence that lapsed and quietly froze visa processing.
The FTA does not send reminders. MoHRE does not send reminders. Penalties are automatic and begin the day after the deadline, and there is no grace period to fall back on. This tool exists to put those dates in one place and then tell you before they arrive rather than after.
Frequently Asked Questions
What deadlines does this cover?
Corporate tax registration, your corporate tax return and payment, the seven-month window for getting the AED 10,000 late-registration penalty waived, VAT returns if you are registered, the Emiratisation year-end target if you are a mainland company with twenty or more staff, and your annual trade licence renewal. Anything that does not apply to the profile you enter is simply left out rather than shown as not applicable.
How do the reminders work?
If you opt in, we email you at sixty days, thirty days and seven days before each deadline that applies to you. If you sign up closer than that to a deadline you get the most urgent reminder that still fits rather than a stale one. Every email carries a one-click link to stop them, and the reminders are recalculated from current rules on each send rather than from a snapshot taken when you signed up.
What do you do with my email address?
It is used to send the reminders you asked for and nothing else. You can stop them at any time from the link at the bottom of any reminder, which unsubscribes you immediately without needing to log in or reply. If you sign up a second time with the same address it updates your existing profile rather than creating a duplicate.
My company was formed before March 2024 — why is there no registration date?
Companies that existed before 1 March 2024 were given staggered registration deadlines based on the month their trade licence was originally issued, and every one of those dates has now passed. Rather than invent a future date that would give false comfort, the calendar leaves it out and flags separately that if you have not registered you are already exposed to the penalty.
Is this a substitute for an accountant?
No. It tells you when things are due, not whether your numbers are right or which reliefs you qualify for. Deadlines and penalty rates in the UAE have changed every year since the corporate tax regime began, so treat the dates as a prompt to act and confirm your position with a registered tax agent or the relevant authority.
Want someone to handle these dates for you?
Registration, bookkeeping, VAT returns and the corporate tax filing all have to line up before the dates above. Browse UAE tax consultants and accounting firms who manage compliance calendars for their clients.
