Disclosure: the products covered here are ones UAE Info Portal has an affiliate relationship with. If you subscribe after following our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It does not affect what we recommend or the trade-offs we point out.
We covered e-signatures separately — this is about everything after the signature. Most contract losses have nothing to do with signing: they are the auto-renewal nobody diarised, the notice period missed by a week, the obligation in clause 7 that nobody was tracking. Signed and filed is where the risk starts, not where it ends.
Where contract money leaks
- Auto-renewals — service agreements that renew for a year because the cancellation window passed unnoticed.
- Missed notice periods — the lease or supply agreement you meant to renegotiate, now locked for another term.
- Untracked obligations — deliverables and deadlines that live in a PDF nobody rereads.
- Version confusion — nobody is sure which draft was actually signed.
The options
Zoho Contracts manages the lifecycle — drafting from templates, negotiation and versioning, approval, signature, and then the part that pays for it: a repository with renewal dates, notice windows and obligations that alert the right person in advance.
Drafting and redlining happen in Zoho Writer, signature through Zoho Sign, and executed copies live in Zoho WorkDrive with proper access control rather than in personal email attachments.

If you do only one thing
Build the renewal register. Every live contract, its end date, its notice period, and a reminder set far enough ahead to act — ninety days is a sensible default. This single artefact captures most of the value of contract management, and you can start it in an afternoon while evaluating anything more sophisticated.
The obvious caveat
Software organises contracts; it does not read them for you. What your notice period actually requires, and what UAE law says about your specific agreement, are questions for a lawyer — particularly for leases, employment terms and anything with penalty clauses.
