About this experience
The Dubai Aquarium tank sits inside Dubai Mall and holds around ten million litres with more than 140 species, including a large population of sand tiger sharks. You can see a good portion of it for free from the mall walkway — the ticket buys you the walk-through tunnel underneath and access to the Underwater Zoo on the level above.
The Underwater Zoo is the part people forget: penguins, otters, crocodiles and a King Croc exhibit, arranged across three ecological zones. It is a proper addition rather than a token extra.
Upgrades exist for glass-bottom boat rides over the tank, cage snorkelling and shark dives, all booked separately.
