About this experience
Ferrari World is an indoor theme park on Yas Island built around the Ferrari brand, and its headline attraction is Formula Rossa — the fastest rollercoaster in the world, reaching around 240km/h in under five seconds, fast enough that riders wear protective goggles.
Being largely indoors makes it one of the few UAE theme parks that works in summer, though the outdoor coasters still close in extreme heat. Beyond Formula Rossa there is Flying Aces, the Ferrari factory tour experience, driving simulators and a substantial amount aimed at younger children — it is not exclusively a thrill park.
From Dubai it is roughly 90 minutes each way, so treat it as a full day. Tours that include transport remove the parking and navigation problem and often work out close to the cost of driving yourself once fuel and tolls are counted.
