About this experience
Parasailing in Dubai works the same way wherever you book it: a boat tows you up on a canopy from a rear platform, you climb to somewhere around 150–200m, spend ten to fifteen minutes up there, and come back down onto the same platform. Most people stay dry the whole time unless they ask for a dip.
The three listings differ mainly in where the boat operates. JBR launches keep The Beach and Bluewaters with Ain Dubai in view. The Jumeirah Beach route puts you nearer the older coastline. The Burj Al Arab option is positioned to give you the hotel in frame, which is the photograph most people are after.
It is far gentler than it looks — the ascent is gradual and there is no freefall element. Tandem flights are available, which makes it workable for a nervous participant.
