About Emirates International School
Emirates International School – Jumeirah (EIS-Jumeirah) was established in 1991 as a community service of the Al Habtoor Group, becoming one of Dubai's earliest and most established international schools. In 1992, EIS-Jumeirah became the first school in Dubai to receive IB World School authorisation to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a distinction it has now held for more than 30 years.
Set on a 12-acre site in the established Jumeirah neighbourhood, EIS-Jumeirah is a co-educational school serving more than 2,000 to 2,225 students from Early Years to Year 13, drawn from over 70 to 80 nationalities and taught by around 180 staff, most recruited from the UK. The school offers the full IB continuum — the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme, and Career-related Programme — and has consistently produced some of the region's highest IB Diploma results over the past two decades.
A sister campus, Emirates International School – Meadows, opened in the newer Meadows community in 2005 to accommodate rising demand, together forming the wider Emirates International Schools network. The Jumeirah campus features low-rise buildings set among green spaces, large playing fields, shaded walkways, and modern science, computer, and sports facilities, and currently holds a "Very Good" KHDA rating.
