About Westford University College
Westford University College was founded in 2009 in Sharjah with the aim of providing affordable, internationally recognised education to working professionals across the Middle East and Asia. The college delivers programmes through its two Sharjah campuses at Al Taawun and Al Zahia, both located near the Sharjah–Dubai border, alongside a presence in Dubai International Academic City.
Westford offers more than 40 undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, and vocational programmes in areas including business administration, management, information technology, and finance, delivered on-campus, online, and through blended learning formats. Degrees and certifications are awarded in partnership with accredited universities in the UK, Spain, South Africa, India, and Malaysia, with many undergraduate programmes offering dual certification and select MBA programmes offering triple certification.
Westford is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and serves around 7,000 students on campus plus 5,000 global students from more than 110 nationalities. The college maintains an Innovation Hub to support student and faculty entrepreneurship, a dedicated Career Services Department offering CV preparation and interview training, and an accommodation partnership with Nest Campus in Aljada, Sharjah.
