About this experience
The balloon lifts at first light from the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, about an hour inland. You are collected somewhere around 4am — the early start is the part people underestimate — and float for roughly an hour at up to 4,000 feet over dunes, with a genuine chance of seeing oryx and gazelle below.
