About Al Yasmina Academy

Yasmina British Academy, commonly known as Al Yasmina, opened in September 2008 in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, as the second school established by Aldar Academies following the earlier launch of Pearl British Academy. Aldar Academies has since grown from a single 247-student facility in 2007 into a network of seven academies supporting over 9,000 students across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Yasmina British Academy is a co-educational, all-through school delivering the English National Curriculum from Foundation Stage 1 through Year 13, culminating in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, with additional lessons in Arabic, Islamic, and UAE Social Studies to meet UAE Ministry of Education requirements. The school serves students aged 3 to 18 from more than 70 nationalities, with a campus spanning 180,000 square metres and capacity for up to 2,400 students.

Yasmina British Academy has maintained an "Outstanding" rating from ADEK, most recently confirmed in its October 2025 Irtiqa inspection, and holds a simultaneous "Outstanding" rating from British Schools Overseas (BSO). Recent A-Level results show 45.1% of grades at A*-A, well above the UK national average of 27.9%, with a curriculum built around a clear STEAM focus alongside Aldar Academies' shared values of purpose, promise, and excellence.
