About Raha International School
Raha International School (RIS) was founded in 2006 in Al Raha Gardens, Khalifa City, as part of Taaleem, the UAE's second-largest school provider. RIS became the first school in Abu Dhabi to be fully authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes, and in September 2020 opened a second campus, KCC, a seven-minute drive from the original Gardens Campus, to meet growing demand.
RIS is a co-educational IB World School serving over 2,000 to 3,200 students from more than 80 to 90 nationalities, delivering the full IB continuum: the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme, from KG1 through Grade 12. Recent IB Diploma results averaged 34 points against a global average of 30, with a 96% pass rate and 97% of graduates progressing to top 100 global universities.
